Ann E. (McLeod) Moss

Ann E. (McLeod) Moss, 90, of Lottie Drive, Riverside, died at home on October 21, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late John A. Moss.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Hugh E. and Margaret T. (Clancy) McLeod, she lived in Riverside for 62 years. She was a graduate of the former St. Xavier High School Class of 1949.

Mrs. Moss was a cook for the State of Rhode Island School Lunch Program for 18 years before retiring in 1990.

Ann was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a member of the parish’s Forever Young Club where she organized bus trips for the club. She was an avid bingo and card player throughout the East Providence and Barrington community.

She is survived by her children, Susan J. Gardner of Riverside, J. Scott Moss of Rehoboth, MA and Patricia Richmond and her husband Russell of Rehoboth, MA; three grandchildren, Christopher Swindell, Rachel Swindell and Matthew Moss and two great grandchildren, Emma Lafountain and Hunter Swindell. She was the sister of the late Esther Thompson, David McLeod and Margaret Maloney.

Her funeral will be held on Monday October 25, 2021 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday 3-6 p.m.
