John DaTerra, age 79, of Campbell Ave., Rumford, died April 7, 2018 at home with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Rosemary (Bigotti) DaTerra for 57 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Marshall) DaTerra.
John enjoyed traveling with his wife, was an avid baseball fan and collected baseball cards. He proudly served our country with the US Army during the Korean War.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters; Madeline Frausto of Rumford, Mary Moreira of East Providence and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral and Burial with Military Honors will be Private.
