March 31 Opening Receptions at Providence Art Club

Join us at the Providence Art Club for free, festive receptions to celebrate three exciting new shows on Sunday, March 31 from 2-4pm. All are welcome, so please feel free to share this event with friends.

On view in the Maxwell Mays Gallery will be paintings in oil and watercolor by Shawn Kenney, Michael Lyons, and Michael Manni.

On view in the Mary Castelnovo Gallery will be work by Rev. Bill Comeau reflecting on paintings by Vincent Van Gogh destroyed or lost during the Second World War.

And on view in the Dodge House Gallery will be a two man show of paintings of Providence and Rhode Island by Jim Bush, alongside photographs of Namibia by Paul Murray.

The Providence Art Club is located at 11 Thomas Street on historic College Hill, just a five minute walk from both Kennedy Plaza and the Providence Amtrak Station. Street parking is typically available nearby on Benefit Street and North Main Street.

These exhibitions will run through April 19. Our galleries are always free and open to the public.
