wife of Rogerio H. Lemos. Born in Faial, Azores she was a daughter of the late Jose and Maria DaLuz (Melo) Santos. She worked as an inspector for American Tourister before retiring, and previously worked for Molina Company and Sacred Heart School. In addition to her husband Maria is survived by four sons Anthony Lemos of FL, Joe, Victor, and Paul Lemos all of East Providence, one sister Conceicao Silva of Canada, two brothers Dinis and Manuel Santos both of Faial, Azores, twenty grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Carlos Lemos and sister of the late Maria DaLuz Silva and Jose Santos. Her funeral will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017 at 9 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church 81 North Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 4-7PM.
