Public Works Department releases Christmas holiday rubbish schedule

East Providence, RI – The East Providence Public Works Department, Recycling/Refuse Division announces that all household rubbish, recycling, regularly collected on Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, will be collected on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 due to the Christmas Day Holiday. Also, all household rubbish, regularly collected on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, will be collected on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 due to the New Year’s Day Holiday. Regular collections will resume the week of Jan. 4, 2021. Residents are asked to have all materials at the curb by 6 a.m. on the day of collection. There will be no bulky item collections Christmas week, the next collection day will be Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021. Please call the office by 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 to be placed on the list for this collection.
