Ronald J. Correia, 90 of East Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Janet “Phyllis” (Marrocco) Correia.

Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Manuel and Doris (Grant) Correia.

Mr. Correia was a Marine Electrician for Electric Boat for many years before retiring. He also served in the Navy during the Korean War on the USS W.M. Wood, the USS Preston, and the USS Markab.

He is survived by his loving son, Ronald J. Correia Jr. and his fiancé Angela Detonnancourt. He was the devoted brother of the late Albert Correia.

Visiting hours will be Monday, January 30th from 9-10am in the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence.
