Solo Audition and $500 Cash Scholarship for High School or Undergraduate Students

South Coast Community Chorale (SCCC) will be holding auditions for solo parts (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) in Mozart’s Solemn Vespers. Students must be in high school or an undergraduate from the Greater Fall River and surrounding areas. Auditions will be held on March 23rd from 10am to 2pm at 931 Brayton Ave, Somerset, MA. Students will need to fill out an application online and come prepared to sing a classical piece as well as all the solo segments of Mozart's Solemn Vespers in your voice part. Please bring a copy for the accompanist to play for your audition. Applications are available on the website http://sccchorale.com/ .

All students who audition will automatically receive 2 free tickets to our concert on May 18th or May 19, 2019. The 4 lucky winners will be picked for each solo chorale part: Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. Each soloist will also be awarded a $500 scholarship. Winners will need to be available for rehearsals on Wednesday, April 24th and May 1st from 7 pm to 9:30 pm and Wednesday, May 8th and May 15th from 7 pm to 10pm and for the concerts on May 18th at night and May 19th in the afternoon. Along with singing your solo part, you will also be singing the rest of the concert with the Chorale.
