Hull Street Park Renovation Party Tonight!

Hull Street Playground - Carnevale & Volunteers Roll On

Posted

Tonight and during the last week of August, the John Carnevale juggernaut swept across the large Hull Street Playground area behind Whiteknact School. "It's beautiful to see all these wonderful people from the neighborhood come out and paint and rebuild this place," said Carnevale with his now famous wide eyes and smile. Indeed on this warm August night, scores of volunteers were painting, cleaning and rebuilding the park. "I've lived nearby for close to 38 years. I love this place and I'm so grateful to John. He is a blessing. He does everything from the heart," said former EPHS football great Quinn Britto about Carnevale. Britto, now 43 was with his 13 year old son as they helped with the Carnevale Hull Street project. "He's the spark that makes it all happen," said Britto.

"The DJ is booked, the pizza is ordered and BBQ is set to go!," said Carnevale as he urged the Hull Street neighborhood and supporters to help him renovate their playground. "It's important that I get paintbrushes in as many hands as possible. We need to grow our movement," said Carnevale. "This is a huge family event where everyone will get to paint and contribute, even the kids! So feel free to bring your paint clothes, kids, footballs and frisbees for the huge field, and no doubt...bring your appetite! Food and drinks are on us and our wonderful sponsors! Can't wait to rock with you all! Peace and Love." Yes, John Carnevale, Peace and Love, Townie Pride style.
