November Teen Programs @ East Providence Public Libraries

East Providence Teen Book Club @ Weaver

Mini Bottle Charms Craft @ Riverside
Use a selection of fun fillings and labels to make up to two necklace or key chain bottle charms.
Registration required. Call 433-4877
Tuesday, Nov. 15th, 3-4pm.

International Games Day @ Weaver & Riverside
Play games! Board games, Wii games, plus catch as many Pokémon as you can! We will lure new Pokémon to the library. Bring your smartphone with the Pokémon GO app already installed.
Saturday, Nov. 19th:
10am – noon @ Weaver
2-4pm @ Riverside

Teen Community Service Night @ Weaver
NEW for East Providence TEENS! This monthly event will allow you to earn community service hours for meeting with a Teen Librarian to discuss what is new at school and which programs/materials/services you would like to see provided by the library. We may also work on other service activities. Snacks will be provided! For grades 9-12.
Monday, November 21st, 5:30-7:30pm.

Looking For A Tutor?
Check out our website to interact with a live tutor. Live Homework Help tutors can help you with homework, studying for an exam, or understanding today’s lesson. Math, Science, Social Studies, and English – all levels including AP. Tutors are available every day from 2pm until 10pm.

Volunteer To Be A Reading Buddy @ Weaver Library
The library will match you with an elementary school child to read together for one hour each week at the library. For more information, call the Weaver Library at 434-2453 or ask about it in the Children’s room.


Read Down Your Fines @ Weaver and Riverside
Youth 16 and under can reduce their overdue fines by reading in the library. Tell a librarian when you start reading. 30 minutes of reading = $1 waived.
