If you love to sing, come and check us out! The Chorus of East Providence will present “A Celtic Christmas Concert” Saturday, Dec. 5, and Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at East Providence High School. Non-audition open sing rehearsals are scheduled for Sept. 1, 8 and 15 at St. Martha's Church, 2595 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence. There are openings for adult singers from all communities in all sections – Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass.

Dues, which include the cost of music and a rehearsal CD, are $100 and are required once a year. Chorus members are expected to attend all rehearsals, which are held Tuesday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at St Martha's Church.

The Chorus of East Providence was incorporated as a Rhode Island non-profit organization in September, 2007, and is now designated as a 501(c)(3) status organization. The music director is Beth Armstrong and the accompanist is Victoria Lambrozo. Officers are Judith Antonio, President; Lisa Taylor, Vice President; Phil Abbatomarco, Treasurer, and Robert Sosa, Secretary. Other directors are Sandra Medeiros, Kelsey Oliver, Bethany Conway and Donna Gagne. Section leaders are Kristen Ivy Moses, soprano; Kristin Conway, alto; Paula Wasser, tenor, and Bill Luther, bass. Immediate Past President is Maureen Conroy.
