East Providence Student Wins $10K Scholarship from Dunkin' Donuts

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Dunkin’ Donuts and its franchisees across Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts are pleased to announce six local students have won $10,000 college scholarships as part of the 23rd annual Dunkin’ Donuts Scholarship Program.

One of the six winners is East Providence native Hailey Placido. Hailey is attending Springfield College and studying Health Sciences.

“We know that paying for college can be a struggle for many families in our communities, so we’ve committed every year to help make college dreams a reality for outstanding students and their families,” said Joe Prazeres, Dunkin’ Donuts Rhode Island franchisee. “Every year, we’re amazed by the talent and determination of these young people, and we’re honored to support their journeys to college.”
