Friends of Library Hold “A Taste of Fall” Raffle

The Friends of the East Providence Public Library will hold a “Taste of Fall” raffle at the Fall Book Sale at Weaver Library, 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence, from October 14 to 17. More than $350 in prizes will be offered. Included are gift cards to Uncle Tony’s Pizza & Pasta East Providence, Seven Stars Bakery, IHOP, Krazy Korner Bagel & Deli and Miller’s Roast Beef. Prizes also include gift cards to Stop & Shop Supermarket, BJ’s Wholesale Club and Christmas Tree Shops. Also featured are a Book Lover’s Basket and a fall-themed hand-crafted reversible quilted table runner and eight placements by East Providence seamstress Sharon DuBois.

Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and are available now during library hours at Riverside Library or they can be purchased at the Members Only Preview Book Sale at Weaver Library October 14 from 6 to 8 p.m., on October 15 and 16 during library hours at the book sale at Weaver, and on October 17 at Weaver from 1 to 5. Proceeds will benefit special programs and concerts and will help to provide museum passes for library patrons. The drawing will be held at the book sale on October 17. You do not have to be present to win.
