Fort Building @ Riverside
Create small prototypes and build forts using recycled materials. Presented by the RI Museum of Science and Art.

Smart Robots For Tomorrow’s Building (Ages 11+) @ Weaver
Learn coding to instruct a simple robot to move objects in construction challenges. Presented by the Rhode Island Computer Museum.

Thirteen Reasons Why: The Play @ Riverside
Based on the novel of the same title, this play is performed by teens for teens! Presented by St. Andrews Summer Arts Conservatory.
Monday, July 17th, 2pm. No registration required. Recommended for ages 13+.


Comic Strip Illustration Workshop @ Weaver
Learn to write and illustrate your own comic strip. Presented by comic book artist Eric Fulford.

Food Fun @ Riverside
Map your access to fresh food, play a food “game show”, and prepare a healthy snack. Presented by Farm Fresh RI.

Goldsworthy Land Art Workshop @ Weaver
Get inspired by the artwork of Andy Goldsworthy, and use natural materials to make small outdoor sculptures (weather permitting – workshop will be held indoors in the event of rain.)

Paint Class @ Riverside
Learn how to paint an image step by step and complete your own special creation. Presented by Mermaid Masterpieces.

Looking For A Tutor?
Check out our website to interact with a live tutor. LIVE HOMEWORK HELP tutors can help you with homework, studying for an exam, or understanding today’s lesson. Math, Science, Social Studies, and English – all levels including AP. Tutors are available every day from 2pm until 10pm.

Volunteer To Be a Reading Buddy @ Weaver Library
The library will match you with an elementary school child to read together for one hour each week at the library. For more information, call the Weaver Library at 434-2453 or ask about it in the Children’s room.


Read Down Your Fines @ Weaver and Riverside
Youth 16 and under can reduce their overdue fines by reading in the library. Tell a librarian when you start reading. 30 minutes of reading = $1 waived.
