Single family home sales were down in most area towns in March, but sales were up slightly in Seekonk and Rehoboth. According to an article in the Sun Chronicle reporting on data provided by The Warren Group, home sales in the area were down about 12 percent compared to March 2014. In Seekonk and Rehoboth, home sales increased 20 and 25 percent respectively. Statewide the median price for a single family home increased from $315,000 last year to $317,400. Analysts say it is a hopeful sign that the real estate market is continuing to recover.
