May Programs for Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary

Backyard Bird-a-thon
Sat. May 14th 1:00pm - 3:00 pm

Audience: All (suitable for ages 5 and up)
Members: Adult $15.00, Child $15.00
Nonmembers: Adult $17.00, Child $17.00

Come learn what types of birds you can attract to your backyard and what types of food will be best for them. Each person registered will build a bird-box to take home! The child’s price includes one adult helper. If an adult is helping a child make their bird-box, the adult does not have to register*

Bird-a-thon is our annual fundraiser where teams of birders spend 24 hours trying to spot the most

Join Jack Lash, former chief ecologist for DCR in Mass, for a guided bird hike through Oak Knoll Wildlife
Sanctuary. These hikes are a great way to see how a small urban sanctuary can provide a safe haven for a variety of bird species. Dress appropriately and bring your binoculars, it’s a great way to start your day!
