For decades the "City" has struggled with the loss of businesses and jobs. The state has lost manufacturing jobs at an dismal rate. Hard working members of the "City" have labored long and hard to develop an attractive place for business's to bring jobs and develop and generate incomes and taxes for EP

I can not think of anything WORSE to start waving around than to threaten a local business with. EMINENT DOMAIN is a desperate act that poison's a communities reputation for years if not decades and creates a hostile environment that no new business will even look at let lone consider EP for development.

All this for a golf course the city could not afford to maintain.
