This is great news. The seniors that built this town deserve a place to enjoy their Golden years

I noticed the building has stairs going up and down on the southern larger part of the building. I assume the town will make sure that the new center will be modern day handicap accessible, because there are many seniors that need a modern building, not like the antiquated and dangerous chair lift or elevator, which doesn't work if there is a fire, like at Pleasant Street School.

The building should be made like the Seekonk YMCA with everything on one floor and with doors that open automatically like at the Y for those with wheelchairs and walkers. After all it's for the seniors and should be made in a way that is safe and easy for them to use the entire facility. Make us proud.
