Carol A. (McMahon) Fournier, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry “Hank” J. Fournier for nearly fifty-five years prior to his death. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Lillian (Thomas) McMahon.

As a child, Carol grew up on a farm in Rehoboth until moving to Seekonk, where she lived majority of her life. She graduated from Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School and dedicated her life tending to her children and family. Carol was a wonderful baker and cake decorator who enjoyed long car rides and loved being with her family. Her presence will be greatly missed by all the lives she has impacted over the years.

She is survived by her three loving daughters, Laura J. Viens and her husband, Michael, of Seekonk, MA, Lynn M. Major and her husband, Edward, of Norton, MA, and Michelle L. Herbert and her husband, Shane, of Leicester, MA; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas McMahon and his wife, Linda, of Seekonk, MA; a sister, Nancy McMahon and her husband, Paul Wilson, of Sutton, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Dr., Seekonk. Interment with her late husband will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
