Covid-19 Cases Remain Low in Seekonk, Rehoboth

The latest statistics from the Massachusetts Department of Health reveal Seekonk and Rehoboth are not being hit with large numbers of Covid-19 cases.

Seekonk reported 8 positive cases within the last 14 days, for a positivity rate of 1.68 percent. Rehoboth reported zero positive cases within the last 14 days, with a positivity rate of zero percent.

Each city and town is color coded to indicate the rate of positive Covid-19 cases. Rehoboth is white, which is designated for localities with fewer than five cases over the last 14 days. Seekonk is green, for towns where the average daily cases per 100,000 is less than four.

Nearby communities including Attleboro, Norton, Somerset, and Fall River are all yellow, which means the average daily cases per 100,000 is between four and 8.

Red is designated for communities where average daily cases per 100,000 is greater than eight. These cities and towns include New Bedford, which reported 172 positive cases in the last 14 days.
