Oak Knoll announces April Programs

Spring Vacation Camp
Dates: Apr. 15th through 19th
Time: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Audience: Children Ages 4.5 to 12
Members: $265 for the week*
Nonmembers: $330 for the week*
*Extended hours 3:30pm – 5:30pm, $20/day or $90 for the week (members & non-members)
Join the adventure and explore Oak Knoll with our school vacation week camp for children 4.5 to 12 years of age.
Discover how April showers bring May flowers, explore our wetland habitats, look for frogs and salamanders, see which birds are migrating back from the long winter, and get outside for an adventure. Each day includes indoor and outdoor activities, experiments, crafts, and animal encounters!
With an emphasis on safety, fun, and teamwork we create memorable moments that last a lifetime. Register online!

Family Habitat Days
Dates: Sun. Apr. 7th
Time: 10:00am to 11:00am
Audience: Families (suitable for 3 and up)
Members: Free
Nonmembers: Free
Join as we explore the different habitats found around the sanctuary during this monthly hike. If you miss this one, you can join us on May 5th or June 2nd. Please register in advance at https://www.massaudubon.org/get-outdoors/wildlife-sanctuaries/oak-knoll

Egg Hunt
Date: Sat. Apr 20th
Time: Session 1: 10:00am to 11:00am
Session 2: 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Session 3: 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Audience: Families (suitable for 3-12yrs)
Members: $8.00 per child
Nonmembers: $10.00 per child
Join us for an "egg"citing program as we start the day dying eggs with natural dyes, create birds nest, visit with some spring animals, and learn about different types of eggs in our educational stations before heading out for our annual egg hunt. At 10:00am, 12pm and 2pm we will search for eggs in our field and see how well they are camouflaged. One Golden Egg containing a $50 gift-card good towards camp, birthday party or animal encounter will be hidden during each hunt. Each registered child gets to take home two natural dyed eggs and participate in one field egg hunt. *Note there are three sessions for the egg hunt, one is at 10am, the second 12pm and the third is a 2pm.
