Robert S. Hunt, 48, passed away peacefully at his home on Davis Island in Tampa, FL on Saturday June 24, 2017 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was married to Theresa Fox. Rob was the beloved son of Albert F. and Patricia A. (Savage) Hunt of Seekonk, MA. He is also survived by his sister Dereyth (Hunt) Dwyer, her husband Edward, and his two nieces Kayla and Raegan of Coventry, RI. He also leaves behind many aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.

Rob graduated from Seekonk High School in 1986 where he captained both the hockey and baseball teams. In 1990, he graduated from the University of Tampa. Rob was a beloved friend to many and received an immense amount of support from his friends and family throughout his illness. Rob enjoyed life's simple pleasures: spending time with family, friends, and his three pugs, watching sports, and cooking.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk, MA. To honor Rob's memory, we ask that donations be made to the Jimmy Fund.
