South Coast Community Chorale Presents Their 2022 Spring Concerts

SCCC will be featuring Schubert’s Mass in G

Fall River, MA – The South Coast Community Chorale (SCCC) is excited to present their Spring Concerts. The concerts will take place on Saturday, May 14th, 7:00pm at St. Thomas More, 386 Luther Ave, Somerset, MA and Sunday, May 15th, 7:00pm at Good Shepherd Parish, 1598 South Main St, Fall River, MA. The Sunday concert will provide a sensory friendly atmosphere for individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities. Those who are sensitive to loud noises or music, will be provided with noise lessening headphones, if desired.

The South Coast Community Chorale (SCCC) cordially invites you to their 2022 spring concert that will feature Shubert’s Mass in G. Other selections include a medley of your favorite Elton John songs, Rocketman: Songs from the Motion Picture, the 1984 classic The Never Ending Story featured in the Netflix series “Stranger Things,” and The Prayer, made popular by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. SCCC will also be performing two current hits, What About Us by Pink, Some Nights by Fun, and much more.

Directed by Frank Wilhelm, the South Coast Community Chorale is a group of singers based out of Fall River, Massachusetts. Members come from Fall River and nearby communities including Somerset, Swansea, Dighton, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Westport, Dartmouth, New Bedford, Taunton, Raynham, and Middleboro. The group performs concerts each May and December for their spring and winter concert seasons. Past performances have included venues in Fall River, New Bedford, Westport, Taunton, and Swansea. In addition to their regular concert seasons, the Chorale also performs at community events and each year awards a scholarship to an area student who plans to pursue a career in the music field.
