From the Town Clerk

Posted

Looking back a year ago this April we were in the midst of a pandemic that we knew very little about. The world we knew was changing minute by minute. This office was not open to the public, we had to postpone the Annual Town Election and the way we worked changed dramatically. As of March 22, 2021, Town Hall is now open to the public. I’d like to think we are getting back to normal but realistically it will still take time and patience to feel completely back. We would like to thank the citizens of Seekonk for their patience during these trying times.

Dog license update
The deadline to get your dog licensed was March 31, 2021. There is a grace period to get them in before May 31, 2021, after that date there will be a $20 late fee applied when renewing.

It is taking longer this year to process your dog tags due to a new software program. We are working as fast as we can to get them out to you. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call us. 508-336-2920
