Intermediate Ukulele Workshop: Beyond the Basics

Posted

Seekonk, MA – Are you curious about the ukulele craze or are you in a rut with your ukulele playing? Do you need some tips and encouragement? One of the best ways to get better faster is to play with other people. Join us at Seekonk Public Library for Beginner & Intermediate Ukulele Workshops: Basics and Beyond on April 1. The Beginners workshop will begin at 5:30 PM and Intermediate lesson will follow immediately at 6:00 PM. Come for one or both! This program is free and open to the public. Please register in the library’s Events Calendar online.

Julie Stepanek returns as the instructor for this program. In this intermediate lesson you will be able to ask questions and learn from others. Julie has been teaching ukulele workshops for the past decade at senior centers, libraries, and community centers across the northeast. She invites you to come and have fun! Beginners can get a head start by borrowing a ukulele from the library with your Seekonk Library card. Intermediate ukulele participants must bring their own ukulele and tuner and be comfortable holding, tuning, and strumming three chord songs.
