On Common Ground Seeks Community Mentors Mentor Center has waiting list of mentees in need of your volunteer service!

Attleboro, MA - On Common Ground’s Mentor Center Program provides 1:1 mentors to adults experiencing poverty in the Greater Attleboro area. We currently have a waiting list of 8 people who are in need of mentors. By volunteering as a mentor for 1-2 hours a week, you will be able to provide mentoring by offering your life skills in the areas of budgeting, employment, education, healthcare/nutrition, parenting, social relations, life coping/satisfaction and more.
Our next three-part training session kicks off on October 18th, with follow up sessions on October 21st and November 1st, and held from 7-9 pm at our office located at 453 South Main Street, Attleboro MA.
Training is free and we offer coffee, tea and snacks during our training sessions!

About On Common Ground
On Common Ground (“OCG”), led by Executive Director and founder Pam Bliss, is a regional 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with locations in Attleboro and Taunton. With a focus on improving the lives of individuals experiencing economic, social and/or familial poverty, OCG currently provides an average of 36 mentoring relationships at any given time, but we are growing! Since inception, our Mentor Center has successfully matched over 335 mentees and resources, the outcomes of which have positively impacted over 1000 individuals. Our team of volunteer mentors have a legacy of proven success helping mentees find employment, further education, improve budgeting skills and/or find safe and stable housing.
