Annual Holiday Toy Drive

Posted

Dear Friends,

I am very proud to announce that again this year we are running a Holiday Toy Drive to benefit a wonderful organization called Children’s Friend and to provide deserving children in Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts with the spirit of Christmas. The need for help is even greater this year than previous years.

We are asking local business and friends to help us make this holiday season special for these deserving children. We are very compassionate to the difficult times that we face together but together we have the ability to help children who are often forgotten. We are in need of donations of NEW Toys, Clothing, Books or gift items for children ages 0 – 16 yrs old. All donations are desperately needed to help make this holiday season joyous for such deserving children in our area.

On Saturday, December 10th, 2011 I will be having my annual Christmas Toy Drive Dinner to be held at East Providence K of C Council to collect Toys for the Holiday Toy Drive and to raise money to benefit various supported Knights Charities and a Special raffle for the evening. We are asking local business that wishes to help can make any type of donation and it will be greatly appreciated. We are in need of donations of raffle items to be used such as gift certificates, service certificates or items for baskets.

If you can help by providing a donation please contact me (Joe Silva at 401-434-3556) with any questions. I will be glad to arrange for pick-up of any donated items. Together we can help make the holidays special for children who deserve to receive some holiday cheer.

Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.

Wishing you and yours a very joyous holiday season and very happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Joseph Silva Jr.
