East Providence, R.I. (December 18, 2023): CareLink, a nonprofit healthcare network of post-acute and community-based providers serving older adults and adults with disabilities, announces that Chief Growth Officer Robyn Earley, MA, CCC-SLP, CDP, CMDCP has graduated from Leadership Rhode Island (LRI), a nationally recognized community leadership development program.

Ms. Earley was nominated and selected to participate in the LRI Core Program designed to bring leaders from throughout Rhode Island together to create positive change across the state. Program members engage in shared experiences, events, community-engaged projects, strengths-based coaching, and individual learning opportunities.

Earley began the training in January of 2023. During the 10-month program, she participated in various activities including an opportunity to visit and ride on a C-130 aircraft with the Rhode Island National Guard and learning about the state’s defense initiatives. She also took part in group sessions exploring education, economic development, government, health, and criminal justice.

“Leadership RI provides the rare opportunity to be self-reflective,” states Earley. “Hearing from people in industries outside of healthcare provided a unique opportunity for me to learn from and apply a fresh perspective to solve some of our biggest healthcare challenges. I am so grateful for this experience and look forward to applying everything I’ve learned about leadership and myself as a professional.”

Dr. Chris Gadbois, chief executive officer of CareLink, Inc., congratulated Earley for her participation in Leadership Rhode Island, saying, “I am proud of her accomplishment as a graduate of this program. LRI has a longstanding tradition of attracting and creating the very best leaders in the Ocean State. The training goes far beyond professional development. It is exciting to know that her participation in this LRI network will continue to add value to her work at CareLink now and in the future.”

LRI Director for Leadership Development Teresa DeFlitch commended Earley for her contributions to the graduating class. “Robyn was a valuable addition to the 2023 Tau II cohort. Not only did she bring her extensive knowledge of healthcare, but also a caring and supportive energy that grounded us all. We are looking forward to continuing to learn from Robyn as she continues her leadership role in Rhode Island with CareLink.”

Earley holds a degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Florida (1993) and a Masters degree in Speech Communication Sciences and Disorders from San Diego State University (1997). She brings to CareLink two decades of experience in speech-language pathology and community-based care administration for older adults. Earley also earned certification as a dementia practitioner from the National Council of Certified Dementia Care Practitioners, is a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional and has her Green Belt in Lean/Six Sigma for healthcare. She serves on the board of the Rhode Island Speech and Hearing Association and is the co-chair of the organization’s Medical Committee.
