Brief EP City Council Meeting Tonight

The meeting of the East Providence City Council scheduled for tonight, March 17, 2020 will be shortened and all matters requiring public discussion will be scheduled for a later date.

The council by emergency order, will meet at 6:00 PM and the meeting will last about half an hour, approximately. The meeting is open to the public with an occupancy of 10 people allowed.

"The council needs to vote on an extension of Mayoral Executive Orders as outlined by the Governor's directives. The council also needs to vote on a measure that will allow the continuance of construction at the site of the new East Providence High School so as not to delay that project," said council President Robert Britto.

All other matters as previously posted will be postponed to a later date. The council will publicize when it will meet next.
