Community Autism Resources' Gathering for Grandparent’s UNbrunch!

This event is for Grandparents of individuals with ASD only! You or your grandchild must live within the Community Autism Resources service region.
Saturday October 17th 9:30 - 11:30

During these times of Covid19 safety is a prime concern! This October we will being holding our semi-annual Gathering for Grandparents, minus the brunch, via zoom.

But, just because we won’t be enjoying a delicious brunch together doesn’t mean that we can’t have a great time!

Grab your coffee and join us to hear Community Autism Resource's' own Shannon Whitter as she discusses:

What are Social Skills and How Can we Support Social Skills Learning?

“Social Skills” is a buzz phrase that people frequently use when talking about Autism Spectrum Disorder. Discover the details of what skills actually fall under the umbrella of social skills. Learn how those skills can be taught, encouraged, and supported for any age individual with ASD. As always time will be set aside for Q&A!

In addition to our topic of Social Skills we will also have some fun and we’ll be doing gift card giveaways!
