Dighton Town Historian to Speak at Dighton Rock Park in Berkley

On Sunday, April 8, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., Myrna Santos, Dighton Town Historian, will speak about Dighton Rock Park Resort, a trolley park of the Dighton, Somerset and Swansea Street Railway that existed along the Taunton River on Pleasant Street in Dighton from 1896 to 1921.

The 'resort' park was the basis for the limited edition 2018 calendar/history that was printed and sold to benefit the restoration of the Segreganset School, Dighton's one remaining one-room schoolhouse.

There will be a limited number of calendars available for sale after the talk.
