Scratch Art @ Riverside
Create your own special scratch art with paper that we color and cover in a painted film. Then etch out a unique design to frame and display!

Smart Robots For Tomorrow’s Building @ Weaver
Presented by the Rhode Island Computer Museum, this hands-on workshop teaches participants coding for instructing simple robots to move objects in a series of construction challenges! For ages 11+. Call 401-434-2453 to register.

DIY Board Game Workshop @ Fuller Creative Learning Center
Design and create your own board game with customizable boards, game pieces, cards, and more! All materials provided. For ages 10+. Call 401-228-3903 to register.

Community Service Night @ Weaver
This monthly event will allow you to earn community service hours for meeting with the Teen Librarian to discuss what is new at school and which programs/materials/services you would like to see provided by the library. We may also work on other service activities.
Snacks will be provided! No registration necessary.

Looking For A Tutor?
Check out our website to interact with a live tutor. LIVE HOMEWORK HELP tutors can help you with homework, studying for an exam, or understanding today’s lesson. Math, Science, Social Studies, and English – all levels including AP. Tutors are available every day from 2pm until 10pm.

Volunteer To Be a Reading Buddy @ Weaver Library
The library will match you with an elementary school child to read together for one hour each week at the library. For more information, call the Weaver Library at 434-2453 or ask about it in the Children’s room.

Read Down Your Fines @ Weaver and Riverside
Youth 16 and under can reduce their overdue fines by reading in the library. Tell a librarian when you start reading. 30 minutes of reading = $1 waived.
