Good Neighbors Cook-off Fundraiser November 4

Good Neighbors Community Kitchen & Food Pantry will host a cook-off fundraising event on Saturday, November 4 at East Providence High School. Volunteer chefs from Good Neighbors and students from the EPHS culinary program will work together to create three delicious entrees, and guests will vote for their favorite.

The event will also feature a silent auction, raffles, and specialty “mocktails.”

All proceeds will benefit Good Neighbors Community Kitchen and Food Pantry in Riverside. The food pantry is open to East Providence residents, while the community kitchen, which offers free lunch Monday-Friday for dine in or to-go, is open to all. The cook-off is Good Neighbors’ biggest fundraiser of the year and will raise vital funds for these important programs.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online using the link at www.goodneighborsri.org.  Tickets are $25 per person. Patron and Benefactor tickets, which include an additional donation to Good Neighbors, are $50 and $75.

Bidding in the silent auction is also now open. Restaurant gift certificates, golf foursomes, overnight getaways, and tickets for fun family activities are just some of the things you can bid on! A link to the auction can be found at www.goodneighborsri.org. 

Good Neighbors is located at 55 Turner Avenue in the basement of St. Brendan’ Parish Hall.
