Harold Maciel, age 91, of Ferncrest Drive, East Providence, died October 18, 2018 at the RI Veteran’s Home in Bristol. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Rose) Maciel. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Harold Maciel, Sr. and the late Mary (Lester) Maciel.

Harold worked for the funeral industry since 1947. He proudly served our country with the US Army and was a WWII Veteran.

He is survived by his daughters; Marilyn Perry, Mary Ellen Damian and her husband Patrick Damian, his grandchildren; Clifford Perry and partner Erin Scialla, Patrick Damian and 1 great grandson Gavin Perry all of Riverside. He was the brother of the late Frank Maciel, Tony Maciel and George Maciel.

His funeral will begin on Wednesday at 9am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, N. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8pm.
