Jersey Mike’s Fighting Hunger in Seekonk

Posted

There’s a new sub store in town: Jersey Mike’s recently opened their newest location in Seekonk Square (the plaza with Kohl’s and Target) in December. Jersey Mike’s has a corporate culture of giving that is as much a part of their heritage as oil and vinegar, and each new store opens by partnering with a local charity. Owners Bob Quinlan and Al Graziano chose to donate 100% of their first day’s receipts to the Doorways Food Pantry, contributing $5,000.00 to fighting food uncertainty in Seekonk. Their gift will help fill cupboards throughout our community during the cold winter months. More than seventy local families rely on Doorways, and Doorways relies on people like Bob and Al, and the staff at Jersey Mike’s. (And, by the way, the “Mike’s Famous Philly” sandwich is to die for!)
