Narragansett Bay Symphony Community Orchestra Concert

The Narragansett Bay Symphony Community Orchestra, Rhode Island’s premier community based orchestra, will present its first concert of the 2017-2018 season on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 3PM in the McVinney Auditorium, 43 Dave Gavitt Way, Providence, RI.

Kevin Owen, principal french hornist of the Rhode Island Philharmonic, will join NaBSco as featured soloist in a performance of Richard Strauss’ stunning “Horn Concerto No. 1”. Beginning the program will be Felix Mendelssohn’s enchanting “Hebrides Overture” which was composed in Scotland after Mendelssohn encountered the basalt Fingal’s Caves by the sea. Ludwig van Beethoven’s heroic “Symphony No. 7” in A major will complete NaBSco’s debut concert of the season.

Tickets are: $15 general admission, $5 seniors, $5 students (with a valid ID), children 12 and under Free
