Riverside Middle School Grade 8 Awards Evening

On June 7th, 2016, Riverside Middle School held an Eighth Grade Award Evening honoring members of the Grade 8 class. Dr. Cheri Guerra is proud to announce the following awards:

The Charles Vermette Award – given to one female and one male outstanding scholar-athlete: Alessandra Woods and Owen Charron.

William H. Fontes Citizenship Award – given to one student who demonstrates leadership ability in the classroom and the community: Christy Long.

President’s Award for Educational Excellence – These students earned a grade point average of 90 or above for three years:
Aliyat Adeboye, Megan Amore, Christina-Marie Capobianco, Owen Charron, Emily Conley, Danielle Durfee, Jordan Durfee, Madison Durfee, Savannah Feola, Paige Francis, Noah Hawkins, Amy Hurst, Ashanti Jackson, Khadija Jana, Joshua Kauffman, Sofia Lamas, Christy Long, Eric Long, Brittany Manteiga, Kaylee Marasco, Madison Marcure, Cassidy Martins, Riley Mello, Isabelle Narciso, Michelle Northup, Aidan Schwab, Angela Silva, Emma Tellier, Alexander Wolski, and Alessandra Woods.

The Dennison Award was given to the student with the highest point average over the three year period: Madison Marcure.
