Scott M. Vickers, 56, of Glenrose Drive, Riverside, died unexpectedly on April 9, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Beth (Maney) Vickers.

Born in Providence, a son of Frances E. (McDermott) Antone of Narragansett and the late Thomas Robert Vickers, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mr. Vickers was a Union Crane Operator for 36 years. He worked at Dexter’s Sign Company for 13 years, Hallamore Corp. for 16 years, Bay Crane Co. for 4 years, North American Crane & Rigging for 4 years and Brennan Marine Co. for the past 2 months.

Scott was a member of Local #57 and the N.R.A. He was Vice President of the Oak Embers Camp Ground, Exeter for the past year. He enjoyed woodworking, his pets and spending time with his loving family and friends.

Besides his wife of 14 years, he is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Van Voast and her husband Don of Bristol, a step-daughter, Breeana Zuleger and her fiancé Robert Medeiros of Coventry; a sister, Julie Christine Vickers of Riverside; a brother, James William Vickers of Hope Valley; four grandchildren, Giovanni Van Voast, Victoria Van Voast, Devin Medeiros and Brooklyn Medeiros and his faithful dog, Wolfy. He was the brother of the late Steffanie Pinsky-Christofore.

Calling will be held on Thursday April 15, 2021 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-7 p.m. A private funeral service and burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Contributions in Scott’s memory to American Heart Association, 1 State Street, Providence, RI 02908 would be deeply appreciated.
