Scott S. Pennoyer, age 53, of Rehoboth, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

Born in Cranston, he was the son of Steven J. Pennoyer and Barbara J. (Homer) Pennoyer of Seekonk.

Scott was the owner of Cam Enterprises Inc. for 20 years. He was a hard worker who took pride in his accomplishments.

A proud United States Army Ranger, he was a former Director for the Rehoboth Lions Club, a member of the Rehoboth Conservation Commission and a congregant of St. Dominic's Church in Swansea. Scott had a bit of a wild streak in him and could be considered a renegade at times. He enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, and riding his Harley. Most importantly to Scott he enjoyed spending time with his children, attending Bruins games, eating out and dining in with his dear friends, and going on adventures with family and friends.

Scott had a huge heart and lit up every room he entered. His infectious smile and warm hugs were generously offered to all he met. He was known to be a trickster, always on the lookout for opportunities to make light of a situation. And most importantly, he was a silent philanthropist who went out of his way to help family, friends, and strangers alike.

Besides his devoted parents, he is survived by his children, Raquel Pennoyer of Boston and Eric Pennoyer of Rehoboth and their loving mother Susanna T. Pennoyer; siblings, Deborah Landi and her husband Steven of Smithfield, Carolyn Leclair and her husband Rick of Saco, Maine and Todd Pennoyer and his wife Lindsay of Pawtucket and his beloved companion Beth Tierney of East Sandwich. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends that were near and dear to Scott's heart.

His Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 PM in Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd, Swansea. Due to current occupancy restrictions, please be mindful that guests may have to wait outside while others pay their respects. Funeral Service and Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's honor may be made to the Rehoboth Food Pantry, 51 Winthrop St, Unit 2, Rehoboth, MA 02769. For tributes and directions, please visit: www.waring-sullivan.com
