Sustainable Alternatives to Grass Lawns Wednesday, May 24 at 6 PM

Seekonk, MA – Thinking of lightening your yard care load by reducing or transitioning from a traditional lawn? Come to Seekonk Public Library on Wednesday, May 24 at 6 PM for the program Goodbye Lawn: Sustainable Alternatives. In this presentation you will learn how to get started including understanding your soil composition to choose plants that will thrive and reviewing lawn replacement methods including garden beds, meadows, hardscaping and traditional seed alternatives. This program is presented by Todd Breitenstein, certified NOFA organic land care professional and founder and president of Our Grateful Garden.
