Around it
Dance and sway,
The Hickory Nut
Will not
Today.
Though those
Around it
Beckon play,
The Hickory Nut
Will not today.
It seems alone
Though in
A crowd.
It won't
Join in,
Though it's
Allowed.
In stiffer
Wind
It will
Give in
And let
The dancing
Play begin.
