Harold D. “Frosty” Frese, 80, of Leroy Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on November 22, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at the Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Janice M. (Haskell) Frese.

Born in Ovid, Colorado, a son of the late Bert and Harriet (Schoenfeld) Frese, he lived in Riverside for 47 years.

Frosty was an HVAC Engineer at Rhode Island Hospital from 1971 to 2004.

Frosty was a former president and coach of the Riverside Little League and former coach of the Riverside Pop Warner Football Teams. He was also a communicant and usher of St. Brendan Church for 40 years and a member of the Riverside Bishop Hickey Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and teaching his loving grandchildren.

Besides his wife of fifty three years, he is survived by a son, Brian S. Frese and his wife Melissa of Three Bridge, NJ; a daughter, Amy B. Frese of Newington, CT; five grandchildren, Brenden, Casden, Hudson, Hadley and Miles and a brother, Terry Lee Frese of Sterling, Colorado. He was the brother of the late Joyce Krupske.

His Funeral will be held on Monday November 28, 2022 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
