Kitchen Inspirations Charlie Cart Kickoff

Our Kitchen Inspirations Kickoff event will feature the East Providence Public Library's newest programming vehicle: the Charlie Cart kitchen on wheels! The Charlie Cart includes lessons and 175 pieces of kitchen equipment to allow all participants to take an active part in food and nutrition lessons. Beginning in June, Fuller will offer food and nutrition education programming for Grades K-5, using the Cart and lessons are aligned with the Common Core Standards. We invite adults and children of all ages to stop by our open house kickoff event to see Chef Walker and Chef McKillip of the East Providence Career and Technical Center's Culinary Program demonstrate the Cart in action. You can also check out the Cart's lesson and recipes, participate in a sample lesson, visit with some special guests, and take part in a variety of activities!
