Mary A. Mello

Mary A. Mello, 95, formerly of Interlocken Road, East Providence passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Briarcliffe Manor. She was the wife of the late Armand Mello.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Weber D. and Silvina (Goulart) Vasconcelos. Mrs. Mello was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church Rosary & Altar Sodality. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and going to Twin Rivers.

She leaves one son, Robert E. Mello and his wife Carina, one daughter, Natalie M.Mello and her wife Nancy, her daughter-in-law, Nancy Mello, four grandchildren, Melissa DiFilippo and her husband Philip, Carl S. Mello, Jr. and his wife Christine, Heather Facteau and her husband Wayne and Marcus A. Mello and his partner Erin, and seven great-grandchildren, Allison, Briana, Cameron, Colin, Aubrey, Brody and Andrew. She was the mother of the late Carl S. Mello, Sr and sister of the late Weber Vasconcelos, Jr.

Her funeral and visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 8:30 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street, Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions to a charity of your choice would be deeply appreciated.
