Marilyn Bourne Greene, 94, of Rehoboth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the home where she lived for over 65 years. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Greene, with whom she celebrated 70 years of marriage in 2021.

She grew up in Riverside and summered in the Touisset Highlands with her family where she enjoyed and competed in sailing on the Kickemuit River.

Marilyn was a member of the Rehoboth Garden Club for many decades and loved spending time teaching her daughter the art of floral design, together hand-crafting arrangements that were enjoyed by family on many special occasions. Although she led a very rewarding and fulfilling life, nothing made Marilyn happier than simply spending time with her husband Bob. They would often be spotted together in Rehoboth out to breakfast or dinner and treasured their time spent vacationing in Vero Beach for over 20 years.

Marilyn leaves three children, Stephen N. Greene of Rehoboth, Peter A. Greene and his wife Loriann of Seekonk and Kimberly A. Silvia and her partner Gary Dennett of Norton; five grandchildren, Scott E. Silvia, Andrew R. Silvia, Samantha Bahry, Aaron Greene, and Jenny Furtado, and five great-grandchildren. two sisters, Carolyn Hindle, and Virginia Pearson both of Warren. She was the sister of the late, Barbara Campbell.

All of Marilyn's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were lucky enough to spend a beautiful October afternoon together watching the Patriots and enjoying Marilyn's company just weeks before her passing.
