Roger “T.” P. Tetreault

Roger “T.” P. Tetreault, 83, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara H. (Bobola) Tetreault, who passed away in 2021, and leaves behind the last love of his life, Brenda Davey. Roger “T” was born in Pawtucket and raised in Seekonk and later made his home in Rehoboth. He was a son of the late L’Homme “Larry” & Maria (Duval) Tetreault.

Roger was a United States Navy veteran and served as a Radarman 3rd Class Petty Officer where he served aboard the USS Yosemite. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 302, Hazelton Golf Club and a past member of the former Rehoboth Country Club, all in Rehoboth. “Roger T” served as President of the Bar & Restaurant Service Association from 1998 to 2010, where he organized over fourteen Bar & Restaurant Service Balls to raise funds for many local charities. He was the 2006 and 2010 recipient of the Bar & Restaurant Service Humanitarian Award and For a Wish Come True Claim to Fame as “Roger T” Shot in the Dark Night Golf Tournament.

In his youth, Roger was active in Boy Scouts of American and was the youngest scout to receive the title of Eagle Scout in 1956.

Roger worked for many years as a liquor salesman at several area distributors including, Providence Beverage Company, United Beverage of New Hampshire, Wayne Distribution Company, Johnson Brothers of RI, where he retired from several years ago.

Roger will be lovingly remembered by his family, many friends and colleagues, and by those who came to know him over the past eighty-three years.

Besides his beloved Brenda, Roger leaves two sons, R. Marc Tetreault of Seekonk, and Scott D. Tetreault and his wife, Laura, in California; grandchildren, Johnathan Tetreault, Lauren DiPietro and her husband, David, Nicole Hartfelder and her husband, Justin, Joshua Tetreault and his wife, Gracie, and Camille DiGirolamo and her husband, Jeremy; (5) great-grandchildren, Rosie DiPietro, AvaLynn Tetreault, Sophia and Amelia DiGirolamo, Trent Hartfelder. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Cecile (sister) and Paul (brother) Tetreault and is the father of the late Trisha Tetreault. Roger was blessed with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend visitation and Mass.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the American Legion Post 302, 84 Bay State Rd., Rehoboth, MA 02769 would be appreciated.

Mass of Christian Burial followed by Military Honors will be held at St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket on Tuesday, April 22nd at 12:30 p.m. Interment at Seekonk Cemetery will take place on a later date.
