Taunton, MA – Taunton Civic Chorus will present its holiday concert The Colors of Winter on December 4th. It is the 63rd concert for the group since its inception in 1959.
The program will feature traditional songs such as “Silent Night” and “Here We Come A-Caroling” as well as contemporary Christmas tunes like “Spirit of the Season” and “Music Lead the Way.” The concert will also include Hanukkah selections.
The 30-member ensemble will be led by Music Director Chris Hoskins, and will be accompanied by Jameson Ward, and an orchestra with various musical instruments.
A feature of the concert will be the South Coast Ringers. This group of 10 musicians was formed more than 15 years ago. Led by Diane Ennis of Berkley, the group performs concerts at senior centers, nursing homes and other community locations during the winter holidays and in the spring.
This year’s concert will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Berkley Congregational Church, 13 So. Main St., Berkley. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and children under 12. For more information, contact TCC at taunton.ma.civic.chorus@gmail.com.
