International Food Tasting Returns

Attleboro - After a two-year hiatus, The Literacy Center is excited to bring back its signature food and beverage tasting event, The International Tasting! As in previous years, the 9th Annual International Tasting will offer guests an opportunity to sample food from more than a dozen restaurants, bakeries, personal chefs, and beverage vendors, featuring cuisine from around the world. In addition to the delectable menu offerings, there will be music provided by The Unlikely Strummers, exciting raffles, auction items, games and more. The 9th Annual International Tasting will be an outdoor, tented event held at Five Bridge Inn, located at 152 Pine St, Rehoboth, MA 02769, on May 18th from 5:30 to 8pm. Tickets to the event are $25, and discounted Early Bird tickets ($15) are available online until April 13th. All proceeds from the event go toward supporting The Literacy Center’s educational programs. All tickets can be purchased by visiting the event website: www.internationaltasting.org. 
 
Since 1988, The Literacy Center in downtown Attleboro has helped thousands of individuals achieve their goals through education. By providing affordable and accessible English language, GED, and computer classes, and by assisting individuals who are preparing for the US citizenship exam, our work has helped propel thousands of families from poverty to self- sufficiency. During the pandemic, we have continued to evolve and innovate, by offering our services online, and by providing true wraparound support to our students. We are proud that our graduates have gone on to become local small business owners, community leaders, public servants, nurses, and entrepreneurs.
