Al approached life with joie-de-vivre and a finely-tuned sense of humor. “Pepere” was the perennial Santa at the family Christmas and was the distributor of gifts, sometimes telling a short story in the process. He was a lover of nature, enjoying many trips to Arizona and to Trapp Family Lodge in Vermont. Pepere always loved and cared for animals, especially his many pets over the years. Most of all, Pep was proud of his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and fun-loving uncle.

Mr. Goudreau was a graduate of Providence College and member of MENSA. During his career, he was a director of information systems at CVS, Rhode Island Housing, and Cherry & Webb/Outlet Corp.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving children: Kristin M. Voccio & her husband Richard of Seekonk, Matthew C. Goudreau (EPFD ret’d) & his wife Tammy of Seekonk, and Mark E. Goudreau & his wife Anna of Seekonk. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin Goudreau, Leah Voccio, Lauren Voccio, Emma Goudreau, Brenten Girard, and Nathan Girard. He was the brother of Marie Trudell, Paul Goudreau, Bernadette Ribeiro, Rita George, David Goudreau, and the late George Goudreau, Jeanne Paine, Claire Beauregard, Richard Goudreau, and Therese Richard.
