DR/Seekonk Hockey overtakes hard hitting Minnechaug Falcons in W. Springfield

Dighton-Rehoboth Falcons battled the Minnechaug Falcons in West Springfield on Saturday, December 15th. The D-R Falcons had the advantage of 10 Power Plays overcoming Minnechaug with a score of 4-2. In net for the D-R Falcons was Sophomore Goalie, Jacob Robitaille who made 23 saves. Tyler Poland played a strong game with 3 goals and an assist. While Nick Soares had 1 goal and an assist and Brandyn Botelho and Casey Escobar each had a pair of assists. Strong defensive play by Kyle Blythe(1 assist), Casey Escobar and Luke Allison. The D-R Falcons are currently in first place just one point ahead of Greater New Bedford Voc. Tech in the SCC. The D-R Falcons next game is this Saturday, 12/22 against Durfee at 7 pm at the Driscoll Arena in Fall River. D-R Falcons record is currently 2-0.
