Good Neighbors to Host 2nd Annual All Fired Up!

Good Neighbors announces their second annual All Fired Up! Community Kitchen Cook-Off fundraiser dinner, silent auction and raffle will take place on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, at East Providence High School. This fun and engaging event is a collaboration between Good Neighbors and East Providence High School Career and Technical Center. All proceeds benefit Good Neighbors and their two main programs- the community kitchen and food pantry. Good Neighbors has a main facility located at 55 Turner Ave in Riverside, RI. This location is home to their Community Kitchen, which prepares free nutritious hot meals five days per week and hosts a food pantry several times each month. In 2024, the organization acquired a satellite pantry location at 100 Newman Ave in Rumford, RI.

Collaboration by the Community, for the Community:
All Fired Up! Community Kitchen Cook-Off Dinner fundraiser will have its second annual event this year, with last year’s event being a huge success. EPHS Students team up with volunteers who cook every week in the community kitchen to battle it out for the title of All Fired Up! Champions. The students recently visited Good Neighbors to learn more about this meal-site and food pantry in their community before the competition day. Each attendee will vote for their favorite meal. This fun and engaging event also includes a silent auction and raffle. With the event taking place on Saturday, December 7th this year, it is a perfect time to pick up some gifts while helping to feed your community during the holidays. There will even be a themed mocktail bar with mocktails created by a renowned mixologist. We invite everyone to come out, enjoy all the dishes and vote for your favorite one, and learn more about what Good Neighbors is doing in East Providence and neighboring communities.

(Townie and Good Neighbor ticket prices include a tax-deductible donation to Good Neighbors)
Auction Information: The silent auction will go live on November 7th on Bidding for Good, allowing participants to start bidding in advance of the event. It will end on the night of the event.
